This week, DaBella Cares is shining a light on Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF), a national nonprofit working toward a future where every child has the chance to grow up cancer-free. Since 1981, CCRF has contributed more than $235 million to childhood cancer research, family support programs, and awareness and education initiatives. Their work helps researchers develop safer, more effective treatments while supporting children and families navigating cancer.

Our next DaBella Cares x Rocktober spotlight this week is Cancer Pathways, a Seattle-based nonprofit that has been walking alongside people affected by cancer since 2001.

Cancer Pathways provides free support groups, education programs, and community resources for people with cancer, caregivers, family members, and friends in Washington and virtually nationwide. Their programs include support groups, youth and family programs, cancer education, to***co cessation resources, and more.

With more than half a million lives touched, Cancer Pathways continues to create spaces where people can find connection, strength, and hope throughout their cancer journey.

Meet Will 🔥

Will’s DaBella journey has been about growing with every new opportunity. After starting out supporting Canvass Operations with reporting and data, he took on a new challenge when the team began managing its fleet. The added responsibility gave him the chance to work with outside vendors and build his Excel skills even further.

Now, he’s putting those skills to work in another way: teaching them to others. Will recently led Excel trainings for both the HR and Canvass teams, something he’s especially proud of.
His biggest takeaway? Good leadership gives you the support to grow and become a leader yourself.

In the summer, the house stayed cooler as well with the new siding. Couldn't be happier!!" Across the country, an estimated 108,000 children are sleeping on the floor tonight. Sleep in Heavenly Peace has spent over a decade changing that, one bed at a time, starting right there in Twin Falls, Idaho where the organization was founded in 2012. Today they've delivered more than 369,000 beds nationwide.

Our Twin Falls team had the honor of joining hundreds of volunteers at the CSI Expo Center to cut, sand, and assemble bed frames for local families in the Magic Valley. It's the kind of work that reflects what we believe at DaBella: caring for people doesn't stop at the front door.

We're proud to stand behind SHP and the families they serve. No kid should sleep on the floor in their own town.
