Rather you are a home cook, a baker or anything in between my strategy can be used!
1. Respond to Negative comments and Reciprocate the positive ones : when you receive positive vibes, reciprocate! Engage authentically with those who support you and build a true community. (don’t just respond with emojis really engage and have a conversation if one can be had) But don’t shy away from the negative Nancy’s either; keep your cool and use it as an opportunity to educate and enlighten. By consistently engaging with both positive and negative feedback, you’ll boost your post’s visibility and engagement! (Meaning Instagram will push your post more)
2. Optimize Your Profile & Bio: Your profile is your digital storefront. Ensure clarity by highlighting key points such as your specialty cuisine, unique cooking style, or culinary expertise. Make it easy for potential followers to understand what you offer and why they should hit that follow button. ( there’s more points I want to touch on with this subject make sure you follow me to get the scoop on how to grow your food account)
3. Create High-Quality Content: Quality is key! Invest time in creating visually appealing and engaging content that showcases your culinary skills. I just use my iPhone 12 Pro ! So don’t think you have to invest nothing crazy! I have an iPhone 15 as well but I honestly like the camera better on my 12. Tbh all you need is a phone with a quality camera, a tripod and good lighting ( ring light , soft box or stand lights). Once you have those things you need to practice filming & this is where most go wrong. People don’t know how to record which in result makes the content you created bad. Practice hitting those angles and getting good close ups. When you see a good food video what you need to do is break down what has drawn you too it in the first place. Was it the bubbling cheese coming fresh out the oven . Was it the perfectly seasoned top the was glistening and looking delicious? Implement these things and watch the growth ( want a video on how I film comment below )
