The American West has shaped our work for decades, and Western Skies gave us the opportunity to translate that influence into a collection with Holland & Sherry.

On November 5, Bill will be at the Holland & Sherry Washington, D.C. showroom for two intimate presentations sharing the landscapes, textures, and stories behind the collection.

Join us at 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM for a closer look at Western Skies.

Longtime clients traded the traditional rustic character of their Montana ski home for something lighter and more modern when they began their next chapter in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

At Lakeside Retreat, polished plaster, reclaimed wood, stone, steel, and glass balance that new direction with a connection to the Mountain West. Every room was oriented toward the landscape, with views of the lake, golf course, or surrounding woodlands and spaces designed around the way the couple lives here: family coming to stay, days spent outdoors, and evenings over their famous martinis.

A home for a different season of life, in every sense.

The owner’s office brings a sense of play to even the coziest corners of the ranch. This wood-paneled study is a comfortable place to settle in with a good book or get some work done with this clever little fox.

Peace in the West and our Western Skies collection with Holland & Sherry grew from the same love of the American West and the materials, landscapes, and traditions that have shaped our work there.

One tells that story through the homes we’ve designed over the years. The other translates it into fabrics, wallcoverings, rugs, leathers, trim, and hardware made to become part of homes of their own.

It’s been incredibly meaningful to see both out in the world and to continue sharing this part of our story.
