Sunday Stills.

Two months until Christmas, but in my home it already is beginning to feel like it.

I am taking my inspiration for this season‘s Christmas decor from my favorite Christmases from the past.

The homes that brought me seasonal comfort, filled me with joy, and warmed me with nostalgia.

The sentimental connection to the women who created the most beautiful Christmases, and their homes.

I don’t think I am curating a theme, I am trying to recreate a feeling.

Fastest DIY ever!

One of my favorite ways to add a touch of whimsy and character to my home is unique lighting.

I have a blue and white teapot lamp that I purchased a few years ago that I have loved using throughout my home, but, I wanted a red transferware one to use at Christmas and could not find any.

What I did find was kits to convert vases into lamps, and ordered one hoping that it would fit one of my teapots. The kit came with three sizes. I have found the middle size fits the majority of my teapots. It works well with a vintage chocolate pot as well. 🫖

The process was quick, and does not damage the teapot. It’s a delightful way to display and use my thrifted teapots to add charm to my home, in a perfectly non-permanent fashion.

The kit was under $20, and I thrifted a lampshade for $7.

If you love traditional interiors and love incorporating vintage pieces and thrift into your timeless home, you fit in perfectly here. Follow for more. 🎄

You can view the entire process of creating this lamp today in my stories. Unedited from start to finish. I will also link the kit I used.

Want to try it? This is my original idea. Please tag me when you share.❤️

Because it’s never too early to feel like this.🎄

It’s the season of joy and the comfort we have been longing for wrapped up in twinkle lights and tartan ribbon…

It’s the longing for a time when the world felt slower, more sparkly and instead of being connected by phones, we were connected by gathering with one another.

A season surrounded by the family we make (your family is every one you love) to celebrate those who created magic for us in our own childhoods and hopefully capture some of those sentimental moments of childlike joy as adults while creating sentimental memories of our own.

The coziest season. I am grateful to be able to share it with you.

I am an early decorator for Christmas and have been decorating for the past two weeks, I am feeling extra nostalgic this season. I’ve pulled out my collection of department 56 villages, the ones my children loved when they were little to display alongside my grandmother‘s favorite angel chimes.

If you are a homebody who loves Christmas and is nostalgic for the everyday homes we find the most welcoming, follow along for more. ❤️

Sunday Stills.

Progress on Christmas 2026 in my dining room.

The real star is the Benjamin Moore French Horn paint. I chose this paint color in March, to add a little bit of drama into what was previously lifeless green space. I don’t think I imagined how beautifully it would compliment a traditional Christmas.

My tree was gifted from King of Christmas® and is the unlit Royal Fir Slim. Normally the tree in the dining room gets the cast off and leftovers from the living room tree. This year I gave it a special treatment.

I’m not used to decorating a tree from scratch and purchasing all new things, I don’t think I have shopped for a tree theme in 10 or more years, referring to pull out all of my vintage favorites that I have collected since I married my husband.

I have to say I enjoyed the process. I think my favorite is the red velvet carousel horses from Hobby lobby, and the beautiful plaid ribbon from Amazon. But those viral gold teddy bears from Walmart really were amazing, I purchased them before realizing everybody had FOMO for those. So I guess I’m not entirely immune to trends, either.🎄

When your Halloween plans look like this…

A quiet evening at home, watching the Hallmark Channel, and decorating for Christmas. 🎄

Christmas is my very favorite holiday, and we don’t celebrate Halloween.

I am an early decorator, as you can see my dining room is already finished. It’s not that I’m rushing this season, it’s that I want my favorite season to last even longer.

Do you feel the same way? Follow along for twinkle lights and Christmas coziness. 🎄

You don’t need approval to decorate early for Christmas.

It’s the sense of comfort we search for all year wrapped up in twinkle lights and tartan ribbon…

It’s the longing for a time when the world felt slower, more sparkly and being surrounded by everyone we love to celebrate those who created magic for us in our own childhoods and hopefully capture some of those simple moments of childlike joy as adults while creating some of our own.

The coziest season. I am grateful to be able to share it with you.

I am an early decorator for Christmas and have been decorating for the past two weeks, I am always about sharing cozy traditional interiors and celebrating the everyday small moments that make our homes special along the way.

If you are a homebody who loves Christmas and is nostalgic for the everyday homes we find the most welcoming, follow along for more. ❤️
