🦇 Spooktacular and wickedly beautiful. 🎃🌿

Just in time for Halloween, Mother Nature is showing off her spooky side! Meet the White Bat Flower (Tacca integrifolia), a hauntingly beautiful tropical plant with eerie bat-shaped blooms, deep purple flowers, and long, dangling whiskers that look straight out of a Halloween fairy tale! 🕸️

This is NOT an orchid, but you will often see these plants sold at orchid shows. We found this particular specimen at Selby Gardens in Sarasota.

No tricks here, just one of nature’s most fascinating treats! 👻 Although we do not grow these, we thought you might enjoy the bloom share.

Happy Halloween! 🎃🦇

We love it when orchid enthusiasts send us photos of their Better-Gro orchids.
This spectacular yellow beauty was sent to us Lorrie Worden. She shared that she had been growing it for 3-4 years. She grows it in lava rock and it sits in a bit of water year round. Not only is it beautiful, it is also HIGHLY fragrant.

Thanks for sharing Lorrie!
