In addition to yearly themes, special events, and an ever changing display of natural beauty, the Gardens also offers a tropical indoor Conservatory with seasonal displays, a 2,500 square foot Butterfly Wing with 800 exotic butterflies in flight, and a full-service Gift Shop featuring unique items.

At our Herbal Lotion Bar and Lip Balm Workshop, you’ll learn from Ann Staudt of Siberian Soap Co. about how to work with plant-based oils, butters, essential oils, and locally produced beeswax to create your own personal care products.

You’ll leave with a handmade lotion bar and multiple lip balms to keep your skin and lips moisturized all winter long.

It’s been a busy final week of October at Reiman Gardens! 🍂

We hosted field trip groups, kept up the daily prep for Winter Wonderscape, and watched the fall color put on a show.

📌 Heads up: we’ll be closed Saturday for the Cyclones home football game. Otherwise, we’re open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, so come take in the last of the leaves!

🚂 A new exhibit is on the way!

The Hughes Conservatory will be temporarily closed starting November 1 as we prepare for the RG Express installation. The new exhibit will officially open on November 6!

🐶🎃 IT’S TIME TO VOTE, GARDEN FRIENDS! 👻🐶

The Rovers at Reiman Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest delivered some seriously spooktacular pups, and now it’s up to YOU to crown the top dog! 🏆

👉 How to vote: Check out the photo album, then “like” your favorite costume. The pup with the most likes takes the crown! We will award prizes out to third place.

The Bonsai Show is just over a week away!

Join the Iowa Bonsai Association and the Eastern Iowa Bonsai Association for a formal display of some of the finest bonsai in the Midwest! Suiseki stones, traditional Japanese viewing stones shaped by nature will also be displayed.

IBA docents will be available to walk visitors through the show and answer bonsai related questions. Styling and design demonstrations will run concurrent with the show and guests are invited to ask questions as bonsai artists work their magic.

An area bonsai vendor and IBA sales table with bonsai and bonsai related materials, tools, and pots, will be available for purchase by guests.

No registration required.

🐾🎃 TOMORROW NIGHT: IT’S TIME TO HOWL!

Rovers at Reiman: Howl-O-Ween is happening tomorrow night at Reiman Gardens, and it’s going to be a real treat!

Dress up your furry best friend in their spookiest, silliest, or most creative costume and join us for a hauntingly good time!

Entrants will get to participate in a fun photoshoot between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm; pictures will be posted on social media the following day. Be sure to visit Reiman Gardens' page to cast your vote for your favorite canine costume to help crown the winners! Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 Best Costumes.
