There's a particular honesty in a hand-applied limewash finish.

Each stroke holds its own weight - some denser, some lighter-so the surface never sits flat. Light moves across it and the wall answers differently every time: soft in the morning, deeper in the afternoon, almost luminous at midday. The variation isn't a flaw. It's the evidence of the hand, the material, and the moment they met.

This is why we keep returning to limewash. It doesn't hide the process. It holds it.

Depth. Movement. Life.
