Friedmann Farms 2024 we decided to try our hand at Flower Farming on part of our land out back. We offer U-picks and farm stand bouquets.

This weeks field report!!

We decided to revamp the field and pulled most everything out, except my fever few. Going to try and over winter her, She looks to pretty right now.
We added cover crop to the field in hopes to start no till rows next season.
I received all the tulip bulbs this week and was able to get them in the ground as well. There are over 900 tulip bulbs in my raised bed! I cannot wait to share these with you in the spring!!

We are getting to the end of the season. Things are slowing down out in the field. Shorter days, cooler morning temps mean the end to the flower season.
