🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: BUFORD! 🧡

Big personality. Zero chill. Enough orange-cat energy for the whole house. 😂 Who needs a new playmate?

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: BUFORD🐾

This week’s pet of the week is sponsored by Custom Windows Plus LLC

Buford is a handsome dude with a big personality. He’s just about everything you could ask for in a cat: playful, affectionate, and of course VERY ORANGE.

When Buford first came to the shelter, we had him on kennel rest for a broken knee. He, however, seemed to have other ideas. Playtime wasn’t optional.

Alone in a covered, distraction-free kennel? A tail will suffice. A cozy, fluffy nest of blankets? Let’s climb the cage walls! No playmates in his kennel? Next door neighbors work just fine! We put him up above the other cats so he wouldn’t try to play with his neighbors through the doors. He stretched out under the side of his crate to play with the kittens in the kennel below! He never seemed to be in any pain or in any way hampered by his knee, so eventually we had to give up on making him rest and just gave him a playmate!

Needless to say, Buford would do GREAT in a house with friends to play with. Anybody need one more rambunctious kitten??

He is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. If he is not neutered by the time he is adopted, he will be on the spay/neuter contract. While we will be sad to part with him, get your adoption application approved and Buford can be yours for the low low price of a free will donation. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Pet of the Week! 🐾 Sunbeam & Moonbeam are bringing double the cuddles!

Let’s help these sisters find a home together!

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: SUNBEAM & MOONBEAM🐾

This week’s pet of the week is sponsored by Custom Windows Plus LLC!

A double dose of kitten fever this week 😻

Sunbeam and Moonbeam are closely bonded sisters and come as a pair👯‍♀️

Sunbeam (tabby) is more outgoing than her sister, but Moonbeam (black and white) DOES like toys and pets! Moon also has her moments of suddenly demanding human attention, she’s just a little slower to warm up to people.

Both kittens are playful, love to pounce at each other, and wrestle like they’re on WWE. These two are ready for a cozy home that can occasionally double as a playground. Catnip, wand toys, and cat trees are a MUST with these two.

Moonbeam and Sunbeam are altered, microchipped, and up-to-date on their shots. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free-will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***
