Living in Colour

A few moments from an evening spent building palettes around the objects we love. Thank you to everyone who came along, and to Dulux New Zealand for partnering with us!

Red Threads has won the HERE Award for Colour, Craft and Detail!

Thank you to the owners, a textile designer and artist who trusted us to bring their home, studio and street together, and to everyone who helped build it. It’s our first carbon-positive house, so this one means a lot.

Thank you to everyone who came through our doors last weekend for Open Studio.

It was genuinely great having people in the space — seeing the work up close, asking questions, stepping into a few of our projects in VR, and just getting a feel for how we actually work day to day.

Since Open Studio only happens once a year, our newsletter’s where we share the rest — new projects, awards, and studio news in between. Link in bio to sign up.

Rising through Waka Huia, colour, light and craft unfold in sequence. At the homes centre, the Belvedere reimagines a traditional library as a soaring wunderkammer - a place for books, artworks, keepsakes and framed harbour views.
