Back to Hampshire now. Liquidamber showing all its autumn glory on our nursery, looking fantastic and a sight to behold and we're being spoiled with the lovely weather.

Miss Sassy- just started digging the roses up for orders and noticed that Miss Sassy is looking rather lovely. She's flowering away in our fields in Cornwall!

26/10/2026

Our revised opening hours from Monday the 2nd. November 2026 are-
Open Tuesday- Saturday 9-5pm and closed Sundays and Mondays.
We're all getting a bit creaky, bones and joints not working so well so have decided to only work 5 days a week which will require a lot of effort as always worked at least 6 days a week since I was 20. We won't know ourselves. A couple of excellent climbers- Perfumed Dreams (white) Lucy in the Sky (Pink)

09/10/2026

A Friday afternoon treat- Peach melba, a very healthy, free flowering and vigorous climber that has shrugged off drought and providing us with some beautiful blooms.

05/10/2026

Last week of our sale. The standard roses are looking lovely at the moment, full of flower and scent.

21/09/2026

Starting on the 22nd. September 2026, we are having an end of season sale, haven't had one of these for a few years and it drives me mad that we look after the roses all summer long and then do a bogof on them but we need the space for our new stock which comes in from our fields later this autumn. The plants are looking lovely unlike me who'll be grimacing!

04/09/2026

Lots of colourful and smelly roses on our stand at Wolverton Manor garden show, opening Saturday 5th September at 10 am.
Please stop by to say hello and meet the lovely Corgi Ross and of course Stewart & Rebecca…

28/08/2026

After a few years absence, we are delighted to be returning to the Wolverton Garden Fair on the Isle of Wight on the 5th. and 6th. of September. If you would like anything brought over we will be very happy to do so.
Pictured are a couple of Rosa persica hybrids which have so enjoyed this drought and hot weather of this summer- Bernstein, Copper with red eyes and Angel eyes, White with red eyes.
We're still doing rain dances here in Hampshire, just the odd light shower.
