Want to render your home, but don’t know the difference or where to start?
Here are three of the most popular render finishes and what each one offers.
No1 : Traditional sand & cement
A traditional float finish or brush finish, usually painted in your chosen colour. A clean, simple look, with periodic repainting needed to maintain its appearance.
No2 : Weber pral M with Weber protective seal
A through coloured render with a scraped finish, so the colour runs throughout the material. We finish it with weberend protect for added water repellency while allowing the render to breathe.
No3 : Weber OCR with webersil TF
A Weber base coat and primer, finished with a coloured silicone topcoat. An even, fine textured finish with enhanced water resistance and a wide choice of colours.
The best option depends on your property, its exposure to the weather, your budget and the look you want to achieve.
At L&D Plastering & Rendering, we use Weber Saint-Gobain systems, installed to the appropriate specification. From preparing the walls to the final finish, the details matter.
Send us a few photos of your home and your location. We’ll explain the options and costs, and help you decide where to start.
