🚿 Another shower transformation completed!

This shower had definitely seen better days and was in desperate need of some attention!

The grout had failed around the existing shower, allowing water to escape and leak through to the room downstairs. A friend of the customer had previously carried out a temporary repair using mastic, allowing them to continue using the shower until a proper renovation could be carried out.

We started by completely stripping out the old shower enclosure, tray and wall tiles, taking everything back to the original studwork.

With everything exposed, we made the necessary alterations to the plumbing and waste pipework, prepared the area and reboarded the walls ready for the new installation.

One of the biggest improvements was lowering the new Mira shower tray to floor level, removing the original step and making access to the shower much easier.

We then installed these stunning dark grey concrete-effect shower wall panels. Not only do they give the shower a lovely modern appearance, but with no grout lines to worry about, they're also much easier to keep clean and maintain.

To finish everything off, we installed a new chrome sliding glass shower enclosure, along with a modern Mira Honesty thermostatic rainfall shower featuring a separate handheld shower head.

What a difference! 😍

From a tired, leaking shower with failing grout to a completely renewed, modern shower enclosure with improved accessibility.

And the best part? All of this was achieved without needing to renovate the entire bathroom!

Another lovely project completed for one of our long-standing returning customers! 😊

This time, we were asked to close off a set of double doors and create a bespoke media wall on the lounge side, along with replacing the radiator and redecorating the lounge, main bedroom and en-suite.

We started by blocking up the existing double doors, carefully blending the new surfaces into the surrounding walls to create a seamless finish.

Next, we built a timber frame to accommodate the inset fire, oak mantel beam and TV. Once the framework was complete, we installed plasterboard, taped and jointed the boards, and fitted matching coving to ensure the new media wall blended beautifully with the existing room.

We then installed Howdens natural oak cupboards, complete with an oak worktop and matching floating oak shelves above, creating a lovely combination of practical storage and a warm, natural finish.

Once all the preparation and decorating were complete, we installed the stunning new inset fire, oak mantel beam and TV, bringing the whole media wall together beautifully.

On the opposite side of the lounge, we replaced the existing radiator with a stylish modern design to complement the newly decorated room.

We also fully redecorated the main bedroom and en-suite, including hanging a beautiful feature wallpaper in the bedroom to add a little extra character. All decorating was completed using Dulux Trade Diamond products, providing a beautiful, durable and long-lasting finish.

One of the great things about projects like this is being able to offer a wide range of trades under one company. From carpentry and plasterboard work to plumbing, decorating and finishing touches, we can take care of the entire project, making the process much easier for our customers without the need to organise multiple tradespeople.

It's always a pleasure to be invited back by our customers, and even more rewarding to see their ideas come together.

🏡 Another Property Given Some Much-Needed TLC! 🏡

This lovely cottage and its outbuildings kept us busy with a wide variety of repairs and improvements!

🔨 Lime render repairs to the cottage.

🪟 Timber window repairs, bringing the existing woodwork back into good condition.

🪚 Repairs to the timber garage and sheds, including replacing one side of a shed roof.

🏡 Removing the deteriorated mortar from the patio joints and replacing it with a resin-based jointing compound.

💦 Thoroughly pressure washing the outbuildings to remove built-up dirt, grime and loose surface contaminants, providing a clean foundation for the preparation and decorating work to follow.

🎨 Finally, we carried out exterior decorating to the cottage, garage and sheds, using carefully selected products suitable for each individual surface.

With older properties, it's especially important to use the correct materials and methods, particularly when working with traditional lime render and timber.

From essential repairs and thorough preparation through to the finishing touches, we take pride in getting the details right and giving our customers a finish that's made to last.

Another lovely property brought back to its best, and another happy customer! 😊

Another transformation completed for a lovely customer. 🏡

Our customer recently purchased a bungalow which had previously been adapted with a separate bedroom and shower room for a live-in carer. As this layout was no longer required, we were asked to open the space back up and make it work better for their new home.

We completely stripped out the existing shower room and removed the dividing wall between the bathroom and bedroom, creating one much larger and more useful room.

As part of the work, we:

• Removed the existing shower room, sanitaryware and associated waste pipework
• Removed the dividing wall and made good throughout
• Created a new storage cupboard, cleverly reusing the existing bathroom door
• Removed redundant bathroom pipework and made good the external wall
• Installed new coving to match the room
• Repaired and prepared the walls ready for decorating
• Decorated the ceiling, walls and woodwork using Dulux Diamond products

Our customer had also mentioned that the hallway was often quite cold, so we extended the existing heating system and installed a beautiful white vertical flat-panel radiator, giving the hallway a much-needed boost of warmth while looking great at the same time.

In the main bathroom, we replaced the existing cracked basin with a similar style and installed a new comfort-height toilet pan complete with a soft-close seat.

A great example of how changing a layout and carrying out a few carefully considered upgrades can completely transform how a home works for its new owners.

🚨 What started as a simple tile repair turned into something much bigger...
We were called out to replace a few broken bathroom floor tiles, but on inspection found water coming up through the cracks.
The cause? A leaking toilet on every flush and a failed bath seal that had been letting water through for some time 💧
We stripped everything back, removed the damaged flooring and mould, then rebuilt it properly with new plywood, fresh lino, new toilet valves, and a full reseal around the bath.
✅ No more leaks
✅ Fresh new floor
✅ One very happy customer 😊
Sometimes a small repair uncovers a bigger issue — but that’s exactly why it’s important to get it checked early 👌

✨ Kitchen Upgrade Complete! ✨

This project included new worktops, a kitchen sink, a boiling hot water tap, and the installation of a small loft hatch.

We installed a new loft hatch in the extension ceiling, as there was previously no access to the loft space. The customer did an amazing job upcycling the base units themselves, and they look fantastic. Our role was to install solid oak worktops, which required a stepped section to allow extra space for the beautiful copper sink. We then carefully curved the worktop back in to meet the standard-depth worktops on either side of the sink.

Once fitted, all the worktops were fully sanded and finished with three coats of Osmo worktop oil, sanding between coats for a smooth, durable finish. After drying, we installed the copper sink along with an easy-install boiling hot water tap.

To finish off the space, we fitted a tiled upstand and splashback above the cooker, followed by the installation of a unique extractor fan.

Our customer is very happy with the completed work — just how we like it 😊

✨Main Bathroom Renovation Complete!✨

Here we have the main bathroom from our previous post. This bathroom also had its issues, with the toilet not flushing very well.

We removed the bath and installed a large Mira Safe shower tray, creating a more practical and spacious layout. We also continued the same panelling, fittings, and fixtures to keep a clean, consistent look throughout the home.

Unfortunately there was some damage to the first basin vanity unit, thankfully our suppliers got a new one to us within a few days, but that is why it is missing in a few pictures.

Another great transformation and our customer is happy once again 😊

Here we had the pleasure of installing this enginered wood flooring for a returning customer. We removed the existing skirting boards & laminate flooring from the hallway, lounge & dinning room. Installed floorwise insulation in the three rooms, then installed the Oak enginered flooring in the three rooms straping and gluing as we go. We installed matching door bars in the door ways and matching trim around the new built in thick door matt. Then finshed off by fitting the new skirting boards.

Our customer is happy once again, even recommending us to a friend. Enjoyed this one and looks beautiful.
