As the weather is slowly turning around in southern Ontario, and the growing season is now behind us, the next step in preparing your roses has begun.

Each fall, before the roses are dug up and stored for the winter, the entire field is trimmed back, an important step in prepping the roses for what comes next! The next time these roses will be planted with be in your garden.

Continue to follow along to see where your roses end up next....digging roses and winter storage awaits!

We followed this Reflecting Glory™ from a tiny bud to a flourishing rose plant, all in one growing season.

As harvest begins, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible growth these roses have had this year. Each plant has a journey long before it reaches your garden, and we’re excited to share that process with you.

These roses will be making their way to your gardens next spring, and we can’t wait for you to see them thrive. More details about our harvest season will be coming soon to our socials: stay tuned!

This week, we celebrated one year of Lakeview Roses with a team lunch and took some time to reflect on just how much we have to be thankful for. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Lakeview family and to be growing alongside such a wonderful rose community.

Thank you for every order, every kind message, and the incredible support you’ve shown us since opening day. It means more than you know.

While it’s true that a few varieties have already sold out, there are still almost 170 varieties to choose from at www.LakeviewRoses.com

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our small team and our family farm. We’re so glad you’re here.

While the bloom is the star of the show, have you ever stopped to notice the leaves? Every rose variety has its own foliage personality, from glossy and shiny to semi-gloss to soft, matte finishes. Healthy, beautiful leaves frame the flowers and keep a rose looking great long after the petals fall or in between flushes.

We’d love to hear from you: which rose in your garden has the best foliage? And when you’re shopping for a new rose, what are you looking for in the leaves?

Bring Rose of Rosalie™ home where beauty and sentiment unite.

Named by a young man for his beloved grandmother Rosalie, this rose carries the tenderness of that gesture in every bloom. Rose of Rosalie™ is a hybrid tea rose producing large, double high-centered flowers in creamy white with pale peachy undertones, very fragrant with sweet old damask and fruity notes, ideal for statement plantings, beds, hedges, and pollinator gardens. A 2026 Jalbert introduction.
