Impressive airtightness results from Corvinelli Homes in Russell!

Their latest build achieved an outstanding 0.42 ACH and NLR of 0.03 cfm/ft², continuing a strong track record of airtight construction across their projects.

Results like these come from careful air barrier detailing, quality installation, and consistent testing. Testing, not guessing!

Excellent airtightness results at 1164 Pitt Street!

This 10-unit apartment building, pursuing Passive House Low Energy certification, achieved impressive results in its final whole-building airtightness test.

Final Test Results:
- 0.56 ACH @ 50 Pa | Depressurization
- 0.54 ACH @ 50 Pa | Pressurization
- 0.55 ACH @ 50 Pa | Average

The test involved six blower doors operating simultaneously across six zones to measure air leakage throughout the building envelope.

With a final result well below the project's Passive House airtightness target, this is a great example of quality construction, attention to detail, and strong coordination between trades.

Congratulations to Corvinelli Homes in Russell on another outstanding airtightness result.

What makes this even more impressive is the consistency. Results like this are common across Corvinelli projects and reflect great air-barrier detailing, careful installation and strong supervision throughout construction.

Another great example of why we believe in testing, not guessing.

A strong final result for this 6-unit MURB in Ottawa. 🏢

Congratulations to Karnak Developments on achieving a final airtightness result of 1.62 ACH@50Pa, exceeding the performance required by the energy model.

This project required a six-zone simultaneous blower door test, with all six units tested together to accurately assess the building as a whole.

The air-sealing opportunities identified during mid-construction testing were successfully addressed before the final test, helping deliver an even better-performing building.

Tight before the drywall even goes up.

Another impressive result from Urbandale Construction, this time at their Kanata Lakes community!

This attached home just completed its Pre-Drywall air test:

✅ 1.28 ACH
✅ 0.09 CFM/ft²
✅ No air leaks found

With Urbandale working toward ENERGY STAR® for New Homes and Net Zero Energy (NZE) performance, these early results are a strong step in the right direction.

Another seriously tight build from the team at Urbandale Construction

This end-unit townhome in Riverside South just completed its final airtightness test, coming in at an impressive 1.46 ACH@50Pa and 0.09 CFM/ft² , with no air leaks identified during testing.

Results like this don’t happen by accident. They come from careful planning, quality construction and attention to the details that make a home perform better.

Great work by everyone involved in getting this one across the finish line!
