Not often that we have a Nova Scotia Heritage Quilt Project registered quilt (99-937) available for purchase.
Measuring 77 1/2 × 63 1/4, this Dresden Plate quilt design was made by Augustine Montgomery in Missouri in 1915. The quilt was owned by Bette Cody (nee Mighton) of Hubbards, Nova Scotia. The maker was her father-in-law’s great aunt. The piece is nicely embroidered. Registration papers come with the quilt.
