Long video of a large spruce removed in a tight backyard yesterday in Rothesay. It shows the complexity of what it’s like removing large trees from tight areas. Using ground protection mats so there is no lawn damage. And rigging down every branches and then the wood to not destroy the landscape below. Now if I could only be half as good at video editing that would be awesome 🤓 🌲

Large oak on the Kingston penninsula got some help today. Weight reduction on the house side, 3 steel cable higher up in the tree and 3 bracing rods should help this tree stay in one piece for many more years 🌳 💪

Still taking it all in after an incredible weekend at the Atlantic Tree Climbing Championship in Moncton last Saturday 🌳

I’m very grateful to have finished in first place in the masters final, earning the opportunity to represent Atlantic Canada at the International Tree Climbing Championship in Belgium next year. 🇧🇪

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who put so much time and effort into making this event happen, and to all the incredibly skilled climbers I had the opportunity to compete alongside.
