Before temperatures drop, take a few minutes to make sure your windows are ready for the colder weather.

If you have newer windows, make sure they’re fully closed and locked with the latches. Locking them helps the sash sit properly against the weatherstripping and creates a tighter seal.

For older windows, check the weatherstripping and seals for gaps, cracks, or signs of wear. If you notice small gaps or drafts, window sealing tape can provide a temporary fix and help reduce cold air coming into your home.

But if drafts keep coming back or your windows no longer seal properly, a temporary fix may not be enough.
It may be time for new windows. Call Window Mart today to book your FREE in-home estimate!

Distinctive architectural details are part of what gives a home its character – and your new windows can be designed to complement them.

For this project, the arched detail above the window was an important part of the exterior design. The new custom-shaped window fits the opening while maintaining the look that makes this home unique.

At Window Mart, the shape, size, colour, and finishing options can be tailored to your home, your needs, and your style.

Choosing triple pane windows? There’s more to compare than the number of panes. The thickness of the glass package matters too – and it’s a detail worth asking about before you make your decision.

In this video, we explain why triple pane windows can help keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, and why different glass packages can deliver different levels of performance.

Your window upgrade starts with knowing what you’re getting.
