As an official member of the Professional Organizers of Canada, & a Trained Professional Organizer, Darlene can help with any organizing task at hand. Hello Darlene provides services to help seniors and families navigate the many different types of transitions and Eldercare Planning required to age in-home with services or to downsize and relocate. Helping with Legacy Plan organization is a key focus service ensuring that all those important documents are in order. We also provide Senior Visits providing engaging activities during one/one time or wellness check-ins for families. Darlene is a CPCA, Certified Professional Consultant on Aging as well as Age Safe Specialist. Hello Darlene makes these transitions simpler for everyone involved.

Why a team of organizers can make a big difference

👉Every project is different.

Sometimes one-on-one organizing is exactly what is needed. Other times, depending on the scope of the project, having two or even three organizers on-site can make a huge difference.

🏡For larger organizing, downsizing, and move-preparation projects, a small team allows several things to happen at once. While one organizer is working through decisions with you, another may be packing, labelling, sorting donations, preparing items for sale, or setting up the next area.

The goal isn’t to rush you.

It’s to use the time more efficiently, keep momentum going, and move the project forward without everything falling onto your shoulders.

❤️A team approach can often accomplish in one focused session what might otherwise take several separate visits, especially when there are lots of moving parts.

For many clients, that means less disruption, faster progress, and a much clearer sense that the project is actually getting done.

👉We simply adjust the level of support to fit the project, whether that means one organizer beside you or a small team ready to tackle a bigger day.

A Lifetime of Experience — Working for You

Some of the most valuable skills I bring to Hello Darlene were developed long before I started my business.

👉After 34 years in financial services, including years of leadership, coaching, team development, project management, problem-solving, and client relations, I learned a great deal about people.

I learned the importance of listening in particular.

I also learned how to guide difficult conversations, help people work through decisions, and recognize that what someone needs isn't always what they initially ask for.

I learned how to manage expectations, coordinate people and priorities, build trust, adapt quickly to changing situations and follow through on commitments.

And perhaps most importantly, I learned that every person and every situation is different.

👉When I started Hello Darlene more than six years ago, I brought those skills with me.

Since then, I've continued building my professional knowledge through specialized training and certifications in aging, senior safety, professional organizing, chronic disorganization, downsizing, and Eldercare Planning.

But it's the combination of professional knowledge, practical experience, and people skills that I believe makes the difference.

Today, whether I'm meeting with an older adult considering a move, helping a family navigate changing care needs, assessing a home for downsizing, or coordinating our team through a complex project, I draw on all of that experience.

🏡Our work isn't simply about completing tasks. It's about understanding the bigger picture, helping people make informed decisions, and providing the practical support to move forward.

Yes, the organizing belts are real. 😊

👉Labels, markers, cellphone, tape, scissors, clipboards, measuring tools…

When we arrive for an organizing or downsizing day, we come ready to work.
But our organizing belts aren’t the only thing we bring.

😀We bring smiles, compassion, enthusiasm, encouragement, and all the muscle and project management needed to keep things moving.

Because organizing and downsizing can be emotional, tiring, and sometimes overwhelming. Our job is to make the process feel lighter, more manageable, and a whole lot less stressful.
