Arches, half rounds and other shapes are often what give a room its character. So when it's time to replace one, it's fair to wonder whether anything will fit that opening.

Because we manufacture our own windows in Burnaby, an unusual shape doesn't mean settling for a standard product. When a standard size isn't the right fit, we can custom-design a window for the shape your home already has.

Give your windows an end-of-summer refresh.

Summer can leave plenty of dust and debris behind, not only on the glass, but around the frames too. A quick clean now helps clear that buildup before wetter weather returns.

For the glass and frames, keep it simple: mild soap and water, followed by a clean rinse and a soft cloth to dry. While you’re there, clear any debris from the small drainage holes at the bottom of the exterior frame so water can flow out properly.

One thing not to bring to the job: abrasive cleaners, razor blades or a pressure washer. They can damage the glass, finishes and seals.
