A bit of special news for our team.

Following our recent Excellence in Customer Service award, Goodlet Rural has been recognised in the NSW Parliament by Paul Toole MP.

We're grateful for the acknowledgement, but even more grateful to the customers who continue to put their trust in us.

And to our team, who put in the hard yards every day, this one's for you.

Thank you from all of us at Goodlet Rural.

A challenging but rewarding job completed by the Goodlet Rural fencing team.

20/10/2026

Another day on the fence line with the Goodlet Rural crew.

A bit of hard work, a bit of banter, and plenty of ground covered.

Here’s a look at what goes into a day’s work fencing out in the paddock.

What is an 'end-assembly' in rural fencing?

Another job completed by Goodlet Rural: a Westonfence exclusion fence built to help protect this property.

Exclusion fences are designed to keep out unwanted wildlife such as foxes, wild dogs, feral pigs, feral goats, kangaroos and even feral deer. Whilst keeping your livestock in where they should be.

This system is electrified and solar-powered, with a battery bank to keep it running. Tim walks through how it works and checks the voltage along the fence line.

If you need rural fencing around Bathurst or the Central Tablelands, get in touch with Tim.

How can you tell if a fence is worth repairing?

We just completed this electric Westonfence exclusion fence out at Duckmaloi near Oberon.

Exclusion fencing keeps the unwanted wildlife out such as pigs, dogs, goats, kangaroos and deer and keeps your livestock where they belong.

One storm. A fallen tree. Fence line no longer doing its job.

Recent storm damage brought this tree down across a fence near Canobolas, outside Orange.

We cut back and cleared the fallen timber, repaired the damaged section and reinstated the fence line so the property was secure again.

Storm damage rarely leaves a neat job behind. We assess what has failed, work with what can be retained and rebuild what is needed properly.

If recent weather has damaged fencing on your property, get in touch or visit goodletrural.com to see how we can help.
