This past week, we faced a unique challenge…

Coordinating the installation of a custom marble waterfall kitchen island on short notice, with the piece needing to be lifted to the home’s third floor.

We worked closely with our client’s decorator, stone fabricator, and installation team to ensure everything came together seamlessly and the project stayed on schedule.

Given the weight of the stone and its extended overhang, we also incorporated custom metal supports within the cabinetry to provide the necessary structural stability.

It’s this level of planning, collaboration, and craftsmanship that we bring to every First Dunes home.

Every home starts with a different set of needs.

For this project, we worked closely with our customer to understand how they wanted their home to function—and then found a way to make it happen.

By adding a third story to the home, we created more room to live without losing sight of the character and details that make the house feel like home.

What looks simple, rarely is.

Behind this project, we conducted layered testing—tracking moisture levels, validating airflow conditions, and using controlled benchmarks to understand how and why mold formed in the first place.

It’s a more complex process, but it gives us clarity—and ultimately, a better outcome.

Our Project is taking shape, with both homes moving steadily through exterior progress.

Each detail is approached with intention, ensuring the homes not only look beautiful, but are built to last.

On one of the homes, you’ll notice added exterior protection in place—this is due to a specialized stucco facade we’ve selected. It requires extra care during installation, but the result will be well worth it.
