We’re looking for a reliable, self-driven individual to join us in executing custom residential design-build projects across the island.

- 32 hrs/week over 4 days (flexible, room to increase).

- Permanent, long-term role (not seasonal).

- Pay is based on experience. That said, prior experience isn't a dealbreaker. We are absolutely willing to train the right person if they have common sense, a can-do attitude, and a solid, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic.

- Must be eligible to work in the US.

✨ Project Reveal: A Modern Craftsman Kitchen on Vashon ✨

This 1947 Craftsman had great bones, but the kitchen was dark, closed off, and blocking the Puget Sound views Ericka and Adam cherished. Working together, we rebuilt the space with the same methodical precision and neighborly collaboration that guide all of our island projects.

Project Overview:
• Opened sightlines + removed heavy upper cabinetry
• Re engineered and leveled decades old subfloors
• Feathered in custom milled hickory flooring
• Designed a zero collision multi chef workflow
• Built custom Euro frameless cabinetry
• Added modular, future proofed appliance cavities
• Crafted hand turned rounded pantry shelving for full access

The finished kitchen is quiet, intentional, and rooted in natural materials - a space that feels at home in the Pacific Northwest landscape.

Build Grow Play is stoked to introduce Nate LaVigueur, the newest addition to our crew.

If you’ve spotted a new bloke framing up on a project or throwing sparks on custom steel lately, say g'day. Nate’s a local islander with a serious background in precision metalwork and structural welding. We wanted him on the team because he sweats every millimeter - the exact standard we demand on all our projects - and because he’s just a genuinely great guy!

He’s already been diving in across some of our projects, helping push a custom barn over the line, framing out our new workshop, and - as captured here at b**r o’clock with Phil - sorting a timber retaining wall to improve machinery access at our base.

Here at Build Grow Play, we’re proud of delivering top-tier craftsmanship while treating every neighbor's home with total respect. Nate is the perfect fit, and we couldn’t be happier to have him aboard!
