🏡 Remember that trip to Joplin, Missouri? Here’s why we made it!

A while back, we shared about making the drive to Joplin to pick up 9-foot siding panels because we couldn’t find them locally.

Our goal was simple — avoid unnecessary seams and give this home a cleaner, more uniform finish.

Well, here’s the finished result! 🙌

New siding, new windows, and quite the transformation!

Sometimes it’s the little details and extra effort that make all the difference.

Thank you to our homeowners for trusting Choctaw Roofing & Renovations with your home!

🐾 A Kitchen Upgrade With a Special Purpose!

Sometimes a home improvement project isn’t just about looks — it’s about making everyday life a little easier!

Our homeowner had a double-basin farmhouse sink that had seen better days, with chips and cracks. She wanted to replace it with a large, single-basin farmhouse sink for one very special reason — to make bathing her small dogs easier! 🐶🛁

Sounds like a simple swap, right? Not quite!

Since the kitchen already had a farmhouse sink, we needed to find a replacement that would work with the existing opening. Even with careful planning, a few modifications were necessary to get everything fitted just right.

Jason made the needed adjustments to the cabinetry and added additional bracing to ensure everything remained sturdy and properly supported.

The result? A beautiful, spacious new sink that complements the existing kitchen and makes bath time a little easier for those four-legged family members! ❤️

At Choctaw Roofing & Renovations, we know that even smaller projects can require a little extra thought and creativity. It’s all about finding solutions that work for our customers!

🏡 A Little More Shade, A Lot More Comfort!

Sometimes you don’t need a whole new porch — just a little improvement to make the one you already have even better!

We recently completed this covered porch addition, building a new roof over an existing deck to give these homeowners some much-needed shade and protection from the weather. ☀️🌧️

From framing to installing the metal roofing and finishing everything in black to complement the existing deck, it’s a simple addition that makes a big difference!

We love helping homeowners make the most of the spaces they already have.

😂🏚️ THE HOUSE ATE JASON… AGAIN! 🔨🤣

I'm beginning to think these houses have something against my husband! 😂 Every time I turn around, another one is trying to swallow him!

Most people walk into a room and see a floor… Jason sees a whole new adventure underneath it! 🤦‍♀️

Today’s episode of “Where’s Jason?” features a whole lot of missing flooring, some serious repairs, and Jason right in the middle of it all! 😂

Just another day at Choctaw Roofing & Renovations! 🔨🏠

Reminder for Haskell County Water residents without water: If you have an electric water heater, turn off its breaker until water service is restored. If the tank runs low, the heating elements can burn out.

Once water is back, make sure the tank is full before turning the breaker on again. Open a hot water faucet and let it run until water flows steadily without sputtering.

Please share this with a neighbor who may be affected!

Jason’s under the house again… well, under the porch. 😂

We’re building a roof over this existing porch, and he’s already found the tightest spot on the job! 🔨

We do not have an immediate project scheduled, but we would like to have a trusted professional to call when these jobs arise.

This bathroom is getting a complete transformation! After selecting the tile, flooring, vanity, and paint options, we created two design mockups of the same bathroom to compare Delta Faucet fixture finishes before making the final decision.

Which Delta finish would you choose?

Remember the inspiration photo we shared when this bathroom renovation began? Here are the finished results! ✨

This project has actually been completed for a few months, but we’re finally getting around to sharing it—and the homeowner was ecstatic!

From the fully tiled shower and ceiling to the recessed niche, mosaic shower floor, new light/exhaust fan, updated Delta fixtures, and low-profile curb for easier access, every detail helped bring the homeowner’s vision to life.

Beyond the beautiful finished space, this bathroom received the work that matters behind the scenes: damaged and rotten subflooring was replaced, a Schluter shower system was installed for proper waterproofing, and the tile selected and supplied by the homeowner was finished with Schluter-Systems
Quadec trim for a clean, polished look.
