Excited that one of my projects was featured in the fall issue of Abode Magazine. The theme is the heritage aesthetic of wooden furniture and how people are leaning into real wood vs. fabricated furnishings. Call me to reveal the beauty of your home.

One of the biggest misconceptions about hiring an interior designer is that everything has to be replaced. In reality, some of the most timeless spaces are built around pieces that already have character and history.

In this dining room, we kept the client’s existing dining table and buffet—two quality pieces that still had so much to offer. Rather than replacing them, we refreshed the space by introducing new chairs, a rug, drapery, artwork, lighting, accessories, and styling to give the room a fresh, cohesive feel.

✨ Sometimes the best investment isn’t replacing everything—it’s seeing the potential in what you already own.

Sunroom season for the past few days in St. Louis ☀️🌿

There’s something about a light-filled sunroom that instantly feels like a retreat. We kept this space fresh, relaxed, and inviting with soft neutrals, natural textures, and layers of blue and aqua that echo the outdoors.

If you’re looking to get your home ready for the holidays, now is the time to reach out. Booking appointments in September 2026.

A misconception I often hear is that small rooms need to be painted a light color in order to look larger. In fact, It’s the opposite! By carrying the same rich charcoal color across the walls, built-ins, fireplace, and trim, the architecture becomes the focal point while the room feels larger, more cohesive, and very sophisticated.

This space proves that serenity doesn’t have to be boring—mixing classic patterns, layered textures and warm wood accents adds depth while keeping the mood calm and inviting

Once we selected the gorgeous Schumacher floral fabric, the rest of the design fell into place. Tans, blue and green on repeat make for a cohesive color palette that feels like a breath of fresh air.

We brought the pink and blue color palette into the dining room with success. I think it strikes the perfect balance between polished and inviting—velvet blue chairs add depth and richness, while the warm wood floors and soft neutral walls keep everything feeling airy.
