Restoring & Protecting in Clermont! ☀️
We recently headed out to Williams Place in Clermont to service a regular maintenance client. We’ve had the privilege of cleaning and sealing this property every 3 to 5 years to keep it looking pristine and performing at its absolute best.
However, when we arrived this time, we found significant damage. A year ago, a pressure washing contractor used an excessively high concentration of chlorine on the driveway.
⚠️ The Result of Excessive Chlorine:
• It burned and killed the surrounding lawn.
• It chemically damaged and discolored the sealer coat.
Here is the truth about hardscapes: once sealer is chemically damaged or burned by bleach, it cannot be 100% reversed. However, our team stepped in to get it looking the absolute best it could possibly be given the circumstances:
1. Surface-cleaned and prepped the entire driveway to remove residue and contaminants.
2. Swept and hydro-compacted fresh Florida silica sand deep into the joints to re-stabilize the paver system.
3. Applied a high-performance coat of Trident CAT 5 sealer to protect the surface, restore as much depth and color as possible, and lock in the joint sand.
Proper paver care requires the right techniques, correct products, and chemical knowledge. If your driveways, patios, or pool decks need routine maintenance or professional evaluation, reach out to the specialists!
