I tried Tony Moraco 's (Steel Pan Guy) viral steel pot coffee 🤯😳 this morning instead of my usual cold brew or Nespresso.

Um. What is this magic?!

I'm finding more and more that simple is better.

🌪️ Tornado, 🌨️ Hail, and ⛈️ Rain all night!!! Let's assess the damage 😫

We had a tornado warning. Quite a few people's homes were affected in Heber-Overgaard, a town just about 30 minutes away and it looks like the tornado is headed this way. Fingers crossed that it is not coming here!!!

I might have a problem 😅

Since I found out that people been keeping this a secret for 5 years, I just gotta make sure I tell everybody about it.

This is my favorite place to eat up here. In fact it's probably the only place I actually want to eat in the White Mountains.

Fantastic food. Traditional Native ingredients. White Mountain Apache tribe. The chef Nephi Craig wrote a book about his story, which is an absolute inspiration.

Supporting local. Incredibly ridiculously affordable prices. Most of these dishes like the scallop dish that I had today $18. I would have paid easily $65 for that in California.

Now, they're only open for lunch from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call before you go because sometimes they're closed. Like this Friday they're not serving lunch.

Staff is friendly. I always have a great meal there. In the mornings they have coffee and a cafe with pastries. Every single pastry I've had from them has been really good. No bad meals. Only good meals.

Go to Café Gozhóó and tell them I sent ya 😉

I might be a little upset when I go when they're all sold out because too many people are going. But that's a good reason.

Maybe I'll see you there! I average about one lunch a week when I'm here in town.

She's still going and down, wow, my garden was plentiful this year 🫶🏾🙏🏾

What did you grow this year? Or what would you grow if you had a garden?

Here's what I got:

6 melons
6-8 lemon cucumbers
1 regular cucumber
25+ spaghetti squash
6 pumpkins (I didn't even plant)
30 garlic cloves
20+ zephyr squash
5lbs of tomatoes and counting
3 artichokes
50+ radishes
20 carrots and counting
1lb green beans
1/2 lb Anasazi beans
Chard, lettuce, herbs, kale, broccoli greens too many to count
And that's not everything.

Sweet potatoes, sunchokes, regular potatoes, tomatoes, blue corn, all are still growing.
