Most people wash flannel wrong. Here's the fix. 🍂

✅ Cold or warm wash — never hot (high heat shrinks fibers and flattens texture)
✅ Tumble dry LOW — take out slightly damp, air-finish
✅ Skip fabric softener — coats fibers, reduces warmth over time
✅ First few washes: some pilling is normal — short fibers working their way out. Long-staple flannel settles within 3–4 washes

Our Portuguese Flannel uses long-staple cotton, so it stabilizes quickly and gets noticeably softer after the first few washes.
