Somebody popped the question, somebody said yes, and now somebody needs a way to make sure that date never gets forgotten. (Looking at you, future anniversary-forgetters. We love you, but we know you.)

This little heart started as a sheet of birch. It is now three layers, each one laser cut, engraved, hand-stained, and placed together right here in our Rincon shop. Two hearts linked side by side with the couple's names, and their engagement date sitting right underneath where it belongs. Their first Christmas as an engaged couple deserves something on the tree that wasn't made by the thousands in a factory somewhere.

So, The Wives Club (iykyk) & I enjoyed a day of perfect fall weather, a fall market and an enchanted festival. While there, we stumbled upon a vendor named Perfancy Sundries.

Y'all have got to check her out. She has the cutest stuff....lofted shelves, blind date with a book sets & I may have filled a bottle with spicy trinkets while the wives got theirs filled with sweet trinkets. Seriously, go check them out & give them a follow!

Some hats keep the sun off your face. This one starts conversations....and lots of them!

From the Highland Collection: a faux suede wide-brim fedora, laser-engraved by hand right here in Rincon. The brim has a big spray of sunflowers on one side, a floral bull skull, swirling filigree, and "Blessed" and "Grateful" in flowing script. Other recent designs also shown in the following images.

Fair warning, Bluffton: I'm bringing the good stuff tomorrow.

Kessler Kreations will be at the Bluffton Farm & Flea, Saturday from 10am to 2pm, at 172 Bluffton Rd. I'll be the table with the layered coastal maps, the laser-cut earrings, and the woman who has absolutely talked herself out of buying a second laser this week. Twice.

You can see both in the photos and decide for yourself which one belongs on your wall.

Edisto Island has this quiet magic about it. Not the touristy shine of other Low Country spots, but the real thing — salt air, Spanish moss, the kind of peace that makes you understand why people come back year after year.
