I’m a mom. I own & run a business. And most days, I feel like I’m going nonstop.

I’ve learned that if I want to show up the way I need to, both professionally and personally, I have to be intentional about how I spend my time and energy.

These are four things that are currently keeping me going:
1. Journaling. I’ve done this every morning for years. I write down my goals, get my thoughts out of my head, and give myself a little clarity before starting my day.
2. My Brick device. At 3 p.m., my work apps are blocked. No checking sales, no emails, no social media, no checking my bank account, literally nothing that would tempt me to work or scroll.. It’s family time. I often work again after Caedon goes to bed, but I have to have those afternoon hours protected.
3. The gym. t’s as important for my mental health as it is for my physical health. I genuinely don’t think I could perform at the level I need to without it. I 🫶 ISI Hoover
4. Sunday prep. Snacks and lunches and outfits and block scheduling the heck out of my calendar. Helps me stay on task, productive, and focused.

Are these things making my life more manageable? They’re helping. It’s still wild….Mama is TIRED (like, really tired!). But if a few simple tweaks can make a big difference during the week, I’m in.

I still have one 12” x 18” piece to create before I can release this ocean series into the wild 🌊 … the last piece has taken me forever, because I honestly can’t get the composition on the 3rd piece just right, but maybe just maybe it’ll happen this week? 🤞

Had a convo with my son this morning about how *every single person* on Earth has beautiful talents and gifts to share with others. And the best part is that we’re all different and have our own unique gifts (what a boring place this world would be if we were all the same). 💫

I really do believe that when we combine what we’re best at, what comes natural to us, what we individually can do that no one else can….big beautiful things can happen.
