About Artist Rakiba Lanise🎨
A Detroit-born mixed media artist, writer, and creative visionary, Rakiba Lanise explores the intersections of identity, culture, femininity, self-expression, and the human experience.

Through her signature AfroShe Collection, she celebrates the beauty, individuality, complexity, and unapologetic presence of Black women.

Her creative expression extends beyond the canvas. Through her reflective writings and Tea with She, she uses words to explore life’s experiences, perspectives, and possibilities.

For Rakiba, artistry is not confined to a particular medium. It is the freedom to create, interpret, question, evolve, and tell stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
