A little vacation feeling, right at home. ✨

For this well-traveled couple, we wanted to create a home that feels like a welcoming home base in the city, with the warmth and ease of a getaway.

A thoughtful mix of wood, leather, brass, and ochre accents brings warmth to the existing spaces, while carefully incorporating the couple’s art and treasured pieces makes the design feel personal and collected. The result is a mid-century modern foundation with contemporary details and a touch of understated luxury.

One favorite detail: the capiz shell artwork, positioned above the future piano, catches the natural light and moves subtly with the bay breeze.

Inspired by the layered interiors of London boutique hotels, this home was designed to feel glamorous, playful, and full of unexpected moments.

While the main circulation spaces remain more neutral, individual rooms bring in bold color and personality. Repeating accent colors throughout the home create visual connections between spaces, while allowing each room to have its own distinct character.

The result is a home that feels cohesive without feeling too coordinated, and sophisticated without taking itself too seriously.
