I did some shopping around the shop today. (That’s what’s up in my stories! I snagged 2 cute terra cotta pots and a sweet pillow for my porch!). So fun but thought I better do actual work so I dabbled in the potting table and created a few little table top plantings. And then….the sun and this spot stopped me in my tracks! We got a breeze, absolutely perfect weather and the music…well I should’ve taken a video so you could hear all the birds singing! Quite magical!

Soooo….maybe we all should remember this shady spot when the heat cranks up this weekend! I’ll meet ya right here to chat everything plants!

We are drying out nicely folks! And it’s going to be a beautiful day…finally!!! I’m sure we will see many of you this afternoon! I know what some of you are thinking…it would have to smack them in the face!!! That’s what my mama used to say! But we have to be gentle with these sweethearts that are frickin clueless! We raised them after all! 🙄💚🙄 ..or do we!

Well folks…I’m happy to report that Sela is back! Schools out and we have her all summer! I am one happy camper! She is one of the sweetest humans you will ever meet! And one of the hardest workers I know.

And for her first assignment…the camper! I wanted it to scream happy, pop with color, chickens..lots of chickens, add dimension, more chickens, goats…when customers drive into the parking lot..I want it to make them smile..or laugh! 🤣

Mission accomplished. Even have a few goats chomping down on my autumn joy sedums!🤣

Well folks.. I know what I’m going to be doing today because…the weathermen were wrong! It’s not going to be a washout! Take a look at the radar…not a drop! I was shocked! Sooo…we are back in business and it’s all about Mother’s Day gifts today! Woohoo! Yippeeeee! (Can you tell that I’m super excited!?😆)

Potting table is open and we are going to be creating one-of-a-kinder’s - swipe for some inspiration! We’re gonna make some mamas happy!

Oh and if you have a special vessel you want to plant up then bring it with you. It’s all about gifting something unique and from the heart! Pick out your plants and you can plant or we’ll do it for you!

Side note…love this last pic …my friendstomer (friend +customer=💚🪴💚) who stopped by to buy but ended up giving my plants some love!!!! Thx Jeannie!

Foxglove…they are gorgeous!!!..begonias, huge porch pots ready to go, huge spider plants, pearls, Swedish ivy, sweetpea (great cut flower!) wandering Jew, what else…tons of new semps and sedums…tons of hanging baskets filled with geraniums, double begonias etc….window boxes, etc etc..oh and the prettiest bird cages filled with geraniums! Moments ago…before leaving for the shop….I removed all the pumpkins from my porch! So this 🎵 is for me and for all the other wonderful ppl out there that need to know you’re not alone!

Let’s give a little shoutout to all our favorite ppl who wait til the very last minute to put on their Santa hat! They will get it done! And if they don’t…love them all the more! Tis the season!!!!
