We are currently in the process of hiring a Lawn Care Applicator for our Turf Care
Division.

The Lawn Care Applicator will be responsible for preparing and applying fertilizer applications to our residential and commercial properties to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in residential and commercial properties. Lawn Care Applicator will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs are completed to Diamond Turf and Scapes, LLC high standards.

Responsibilities:

-Operate Permagreen and Stinger Gateway ride-on spreaders. We will provide training on these specific machines.
-Perform applications to our client's properties to include fertilzer, w**d controls, and other produts necessary to maintain turf quality
-Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
-Maintain a clean and professional appearance
-Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
-Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with the Owners

Qualifications:

-Experience in residential and or commercial lawn care required
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Willingness to learn lawn fertilization and w**d control techniques to uphold the highest standard of quality for our clientele
-Commercial Applicator or Registered Tech License for the state of Virginia is required

Pay:

$27-$29/hr based on experience. Days will consist of a minimum of 7-8hrs.

We just wanted to let everyone know that over the next day or so we will be sending out proposals for Mulch Services and Turf Care. Please keep an eye out for these!

Just as a reminder mulch services are scheduled as they are received. So the sooner we get your approval the quicker you are scheduled. We plan on beginning mulch service March 1st, of course weather permitting.

Turf Care services will begin towards the end of February, again weather permitting.

Supervisor position requires experience in all areas of landscape maintenance, especially residential homes and clients, a valid drivers license, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Laborer position requires some experience, reliable transportation, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Just a reminder, watering is recommended as rain is a little sparse right now and things are starting to get very dry. Newer plant material and even installations from last year still need water to thrive and grow. Next week temps are expected to hit mid to high 80’s. 1-2” of water per week is recommended for grass and plants to survive. Let get those hoses and irrigation going!
