Oh the Fun of Historic Houses and uncovering the “renovations “ of years past.
When we do a project we spend most of phase 1 “undoing” the years of what we call make shift repairs and “renovations “.

Over the years some people did what they were told was “ correct” at the time which as you know includes things like lead paint, asbestos, and even that phase where they were basically applying rubber paint to the exterior.
