For National Cat Day, meet the coworkers who sleep on the job and still expect a promotion. 🐈💻

Donut | Office Assistant & Pest Control
Enjoys leash walks, chasing bugs and keeping the office fly-free. Occasionally joins Zoom calls with commentary nobody asked for. 🪰🎤

Churro | IT Assistant
Tests our keyboards by walking across them, supervises from the nearest lap and greets coworkers with a face rub. Backups are automated for a reason. 😹

Neither pays rent. Both are convinced they run In The Deets.

Anyone else working for their cats? 🐾

The kitchen didn’t need to stay where it was. 👀

We moved this small galley kitchen into the dining room, making space for a larger kitchen, a generous island and better lighting. ✨

And the old kitchen? It became a walk-through butler’s pantry—with a coffee and tea bar, pantry cabinets and an extra fridge. ☕🙌

The new kitchen gets room to breathe, while the old space handles the everyday extras.

Swipe for the transformation. Would you have thought to swap the rooms? 👉

You shouldn’t have to reach over a toilet to turn on your shower. 👀

We kept this small bathroom’s layout, but moved the showerhead and controls to the opposite end of the tub. A small change that makes the daily routine a lot easier. 🙌

Then came the transformation: a rich wood vanity, warm stone, handmade shower tile, stone flooring and brass fixtures. Medicine cabinets add storage, while wallpaper and charming lighting bring personality. ✨

Same layout, with a much warmer feel—and one less awkward reach.

A tiny laundry room hiding in a closet. 🧺✨

The detail that makes it work? Doors that fold completely flat against the walls—giving you full access without blocking the hallway. 🙌

Inside, a countertop over the machines gives you folding space, upper cabinets keep supplies tucked away, and a vent fan and recessed lighting round out the setup.

Small footprint. A lot of thought behind it.

📌 Save this if you’re trying to fit laundry into a tight space.

Before you ask for a bigger kitchen, look for the storage you’re missing. 👀

Some of the best opportunities are easy to overlook when you’re focused on the main cabinets.

We look for ways to put unused space to work—and keep everyday items close to where you actually use them. Less digging through cabinets. More room on the counters. 🙌

They loved the location and views. They’d just outgrown the house. 🏡

We transformed their 1,500-square-foot bungalow into a 2,500-square-foot, two-level home—with the kitchen and great room upstairs to make the most of those views. 🌿

A new deck with a built-in BBQ keeps outdoor living close, while exposed trusses, smart storage and a hidden laundry closet bring character and everyday function.

More room to grow, without leaving the neighborhood they love. 🤍

The best thing we put in this kitchen? A dining room. 👀

By moving the kitchen into the former living area, we freed up the old kitchen for a cozy dining space with room for a large round table.

Beautiful lighting anchors the table, while a wall-to-wall built-in bar brings together w**e and beverage fridges, storage and a custom mirror. 🍷✨

A whole new way to use the space they already had.

Love a linear fireplace, but want a traditional room? You can have both. 🤍

For this fireplace, plaster brings softness, texture and that handmade touch. The simple shelf design keeps the surround clean and gives the Frame TV above it a place to shine as art. ✨

The shape of the insert is only one piece of the design. What you build around it can change the entire feel.

Traditional doesn’t have to feel formal. 🤍

For this kitchen, we leaned into warmth: off-white and white oak cabinetry, warm-toned tile and countertops, and white oak flooring.

The arched range niche gives the room a focal point, while vaulting the ceiling and adding wood beams changed the entire feel of the space. Brass lighting, hardware and fixtures bring a little glow. ✨

Classic details, with plenty of warmth to make it feel like home.

What catches your eye first—the arch or the beams? 👀
