Ok so...worth all the glitter? βœ¨οΈπŸ‘€βœ¨οΈ I personally think so! This classic and elegant beauty will be going to my 11/7 craft show at Marbury VFD, and then if it doesn't sell there it will go to my 12/5 craft show at Sacred Heart Church in La Plata. Lovin' it!

This will be an elegant, non-traditional Merry Christmas wreath...colors are black and gold. Super pretty...but OMGosh this time of year the glitter is insane!

Note to self: take off your black work scrubs before you make a Christmas wreath! The picture doesn't do it justice. πŸ˜‚ ✨️I sparkle!✨️

And the FIRST Christmas wreath of the year goes to...

You might remember that a little while back I did a post about a full and fluffy Fall wreath I was honored to be asked to make for Rich Hill Farm House, located in Bel Alton, Maryland, using rustic pumpkins, fruit, and nature-based colors.

Next, for Rich Hill Farm House's Christmas wreath, I tried to make it as authentic to the period as possible, once again using fruit as well as incorporating traditional old-fashioned holiday colors.

Today, Rich Hill Farm House's Christmas wreath received approval. It will be delivered soon, just in time to decorate for the holidays! πŸŽ‰

Visit Rich Hill Friends' website to schedule your tour of this local historic gem (and see my wreath). Thank you again Michael Mazzeo for letting me have the honor of collaborating on these very special wreaths. Can't wait to see the historic house decorated for the holidays!

Who is fixing Thanksgiving dinner this year, at a table surrounded by family? How about Friendsgiving? Do you have your door or wall wreath yet? This pancake style wreath with its colorful turkey in the center and "Thankful" ribbon would be the perfect addition to any gathering. πŸ€”πŸ˜

EDIT- SOLD!

From THIS to THAT...this was a super fun wreath to make! It has extra touches that really tie the orange and buffalo plaid together. Can you see the little tubing bows peeking out from each ribbon bundle? This one is full and fluffy... perfect for a front door, over a mantle or on an inside or outside wall. are treated with an epoxy acrylic spray to help prevent fading and keep the ribbons in place. This one is coming soon to an upcoming craft show, unless someone grabs it here first! 😁

NOW what is that wreath maker up to, you ask? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I've decided to make a few more Fall πŸ‚ and Thanksgiving πŸ¦ƒ wreaths for my upcoming craft show, then I'm going to start pulling some more Christmas πŸŽ„and Winter ❄️ ones together. There may or may not be a green monster (aka the "Grinch") or two in the works. Peep πŸ‘€ the buffalo plaid in this next Fall one. I sure do love me some buffalo check πŸ–€πŸ€ and I really love me some green πŸ’š monster.

The craft show at Marbury VFD is 11/7 so I'll need a good mix of Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Winter. The one on 12/5 at Sacred Heart will be past all the Autumn holidays and I can focus on Christmas and Winter. Then guess what? I'll start working on Valentine's Day, Spring and Easter! 😁❀️🐰

EDIT- SOLD!

Okay...this started out as something else but I couldn't get the colors to work with the other sign. Just didn't look right to me. So what's a wreath-maker to do in that situation? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Why fight it? Pull the sign off and re-make the wreath, of course! πŸ˜‚ I love a challenge.

Here's the final result, and I admit I like it 100% better. It will be going to my upcoming craft fair on 11/7/26 at Tenth District (Marbury) VFD...unless someone grabs it first. As always, my page followers get first dibs. Let me know if you want it.

Do me a favor and rate this wreath on a scale of 1 to 10 in the comments. Let me know what you think. Likes and shares help my page with the FB algorithm. Thank you!

So we did a thing for the wreath for Rich Hill Farm House. We're using the pineapple 🍍 Welcome sign for a Christmas wreath and swapped it for a rustic pumpkin πŸŽƒ Welcome Fall sign instead. In addition to the patriotic wreath from the summer, Rich Hill will be sporting a Fall wreath now and then a Christmas wreath next. In the words of Michael Mazzeo, one can never have too many wreaths! And I happen to 100% agree! πŸ₯° Peep πŸ‘€ the pear 🍐 nestled in that fluffy bow and the red apples 🍎 around the sign. Thank you again for the honor of doing this. Followers, please check out Rich Hill's website at www.richhillfriends.org and plan your visit.

I was SUPER honored to be asked to make a Fall wreath for historic Rich Hill Farm House in Bel Alton. I had to do a little research on this one because it needs to be period-authentic. I learned that wreaths from the 1700's and 1800's were made using fruit such as pears and apples. In particular, pineapples were a sign of prosperity. No...I'm not going to use real fruit like they did (for obvious reasons πŸ˜‚). Let's see what I can come up with. πŸ€”

https://richhillfriends.org is the link if you want to visit this gem and learn some local history. Thank you Michael Mazzeo for thinking of me!
