Some dinners just look impressive sitting on the table, and this is one of them.
Jumbo pasta shells packed with chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, and plenty of cheese bake into a bubbly, crowd pleasing dish that's perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday family dinners. The kind of meal that makes everyone ask what's for leftovers tomorrow.

👨‍🍳Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Stuffed Shells

1 (16-ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups cooked broccoli, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
21 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
1½–2 cups spaghetti sauce (optional, for layering)

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, shredded chicken, chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until evenly combined.
If using spaghetti sauce, spread a thin layer over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Fill each cooked pasta shell generously with the chicken and broccoli Alfredo mixture. Arrange the stuffed shells side by side in the baking dish.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30–35 minutes, until the filling is heated through and the sauce is hot and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley, if desired.
Tip: Assemble the stuffed shells ahead of time, cover, and refrigerate until ready to bake. Add an extra 10–15 minutes to the baking time if baking directly from the refrigerator.

This might be the coziest way to eat a cheeseburger.
Loaded with ground beef, potatoes, melted cheese, and a rich creamy broth, this hearty soup tastes like pure comfort in a bowl. Add bacon and crispy onion rings on top, and it becomes the kind of dinner everyone talks about long after the bowls are empty.

👨‍🍳 Easy Cheeseburger Soup

½ pound ground beef
4 tablespoons butter, divided
¾ cup carrots, diced
¾ cup celery, diced
¾ cup onion, diced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
3 cups chicken broth
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
1½ cups whole milk
¾ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup sour cream
½ cup crumbled cooked bacon, optional
¼ cup chopped green onions, optional
½ cup crispy onion rings, optional

In a large Dutch oven or soup pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns. Drain any excess grease and set the beef aside. In the same pot, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the carrots, celery, onion, basil, and parsley. Cook for approximately 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables begin to soften.
Add the diced potatoes, cooked ground beef, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
In a small saucepan, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Gradually whisk in about 1 cup of the hot broth from the soup until smooth, then stir the mixture back into the pot. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the soup begins to thicken.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper. Continue stirring gently until the cheese is completely melted and the soup is smooth and creamy. Do not allow the soup to boil. Remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated.
Ladle into bowls and top with crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, or crispy onion rings, if desired. Serve warm with crusty bread or dinner rolls.

This is the holiday turkey trick that gets passed from one generation to the next.
Using an oven roasting bag helps lock in moisture, giving you a juicy, tender turkey and rich homemade gravy with far less stress. It's the kind of Thanksgiving centerpiece that has everyone asking what your secret is.

👩‍🍳 Brown Bag Turkey (Oven-Safe Roasting Bag Method)

1 whole turkey, 18–20 pounds, completely thawed
2 stalks celery, roughly chopped
1 medium carrot, roughly chopped
1 medium onion, quartered
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 large oven-safe turkey roasting bag
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, for the roasting bag
¾ cup chicken broth, for gravy
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove the giblets and neck from the turkey cavity and pat the turkey dry with paper towels. Place the chopped celery, carrot, onion, and crushed garlic loosely inside the cavity. Rub the outside of the turkey with olive oil and season evenly with salt and black pepper.

Place the flour inside a large oven-safe turkey roasting bag and shake to coat the inside, following the bag manufacturer's instructions. Place the turkey inside the bag, breast-side up, and secure it with the supplied tie. Cut the recommended steam slits in the top of the bag. Set the bag in a large roasting pan at least 2 inches deep, making sure the bag does not touch the oven walls or heating elements.

Roast according to the roasting bag manufacturer's instructions, checking the temperature before the estimated cooking time is complete. An 18–20-pound unstuffed turkey may take approximately 2½–3 hours in an oven roasting bag at 350°F, depending on the product and oven. The turkey is fully cooked when the thickest part of the breast and the innermost part of the thigh and wing reach at least 165°F. Check the temperature without touching bone.

Carefully remove the turkey from the oven and open the bag, keeping your face and hands away from the escaping steam. Transfer the turkey to a serving platter, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for 20–30 minutes before carving. Discard the vegetables from the cavity.

Pour the pan drippings into a saucepan, skimming off excess fat. Add the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. In a small bowl, stir the cornstarch and cold water together until smooth. Gradually whisk the mixture into the simmering drippings and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the gravy thickens. Season to taste and serve alongside the carved turkey.

These are the kind of appetizers that make people forget the main course even exists.
Warm, soft pretzel sticks paired with rich, creamy b**r cheese dip create the ultimate comfort food combination. Between the golden pretzels and the cheesy dip, don't expect leftovers because everyone will be reaching for one more bite.

👨‍🍳Soft Pretzel Sticks with B**r Cheese Dip

Pretzel Sticks
1 cup warm water (110°F)
2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp kosher salt
3–3½ cups all-purpose flour
8 cups water
½ cup baking soda
Coarse salt for topping

🧑‍🍳B**r Cheese Dip
¼ cup unsalted butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp mustard powder or Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper or smoked paprika
1 cup b**r
¾ cup whole milk
1 cup shredded Dubliner cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy. Add melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix on medium-high for about 5 minutes until dough pulls from the sides but is still slightly tacky. Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.

Bring 8 cups water to a boil and preheat oven to 425°F. Divide dough into 6 pieces, then roll each into long breadstick shapes about 6–7 inches long. Add baking soda to the boiling water and boil each stick for 30–45 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 13–15 minutes or until golden brown.

While baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, garlic powder, mustard powder, Worcestershire, and cayenne. Slowly whisk in b**r, then milk, until thickened. Stir in cheeses until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm with freshly baked pretzel sticks.

The hardest part about making snickerdoodles is waiting for them to cool.
Soft centers, lightly crisp edges, and that classic cinnamon sugar coating make these cookies the kind people reach for every time they walk through the kitchen. Fresh from the oven with a cold glass of milk, they're about as close to perfect as a cookie gets.

🧑‍🍳Snickerdoodle Cookies

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1½ cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons cream of tartar (use 1 teaspoon for less tang)
½ teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt

Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
¼ cup sugar
1½ tablespoons cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar for 4 to 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Scrape down the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla, then beat for another minute.
Stir in the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt just until the dough forms. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for coating. If time allows, chill the dough for 20–30 minutes for easier rolling.
Roll the dough into small, smooth balls, then coat them thoroughly in the cinnamon-sugar mixture twice for extra flavor. For flatter cookies, press gently in the center before baking.
Place the cookies on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 9–11 minutes, until lightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center. Allow them to cool on the pan for several minutes before transferring to a rack.
