NIBA Designs The utmost quality & flexibility in custom rug design. By founder and creative director Beth Arrowood I am proud to introduce to you NIBA Designs!

When I founded the company back in 2005, my intention was to cater solely to the interior design market. After working as an interior designer and through my own research, I found that most rug companies carried large inventories of dated-looking designs, and worse, offered minimal customer service. Our goal at NIBA Designs is to offer an array of beautiful designs, with new designs being introduced every few months. We also provide unparalleled personal service. NIBA rugs salespeople are all trained in interior design, and understand first-hand the pressure and time constraints designers face. Our job is to make your lives easier- from same-day service for quotations and renderings, to free catalogues and samples for your libraries, to creating custom rug designs for your projects. We pride ourselves on our flexibility in composition, design and price points. We offer thousands of color choices, in materials such as wool, silk, hemp, linen, bamboo, allo, tencel, nylon, cotton, sunpat and more. Continual development of new fibers and techniques is very important to us. And so are the relationships with our factories. We visit each factory once a year, and work very closely with the owners and their staff. Each factory must not only meet acceptable standards for every aspect of its working conditions, but it must also be in alliance with GoodWeave (formerly known as RugMark) to ensure that there is no child labor used in the manufacturing of our rugs. By developing strong personal relationships with our factories, we are able to deliver superior service and excellent lead times. In return, we keep the ancient traditions of rug-making alive while keeping people employed and offering help in countries of great need. I invite you to visit our showroom in Hollywood Florida or on our website at www.NIBADesigns.com. If you prefer one of our regional sales managers can schedule a personal appointment in your office. Thank you for your interest in NIBADesigns. We look forward to working with you! Beth Arrowood

FIBER 101 with Beth | Part 3: Mohair

Love the look and feel of Mongolian cashmere, but not the price tag? Meet mohair.

Sourced from India and Nepal, mohair offers two distinctly different looks from the same animal, making it a versatile fiber for those looking to add a luxe wool to a custom rug.

In Part 3 of our Fiber 101 series, Beth breaks down why mohair is a beautiful alternative to Mongolian cashmere and how sourcing can influence the finished product.

A study in movement, color, and craftsmanship.

Meet RHYTHMIC. Layers of rich, tonal blues move effortlessly across an ivory ground, creating a sense of fluidity and dimension.

Handcrafted in Wool and Tencel, RHYTHMIC is as much about the artistry behind the design as the finished piece. From meticulous hand-carving to the many skilled hands involved in bringing every detail to life, this is craftsmanship worth a closer look.

Swipe to feel the beauty behind RHYTHMIC.

Once a craze, now a classic.

Ikat has moved well beyond its trend-driven days, earning its place as a design staple. Its beauty lies in the tension between structure and spontaneity—the blurred edges, rhythmic repetition, and imperfect geometry that bring movement to a room. Equally compelling in traditional and contemporary interiors, it’s a style that has no limitations!

Fiber 101 with Beth | Part 2: Pashmina

Soft, luxurious, and known for its exceptionally fine fibers. Beth gives us the scoop on Pashmina and what makes it such a coveted material.

Pashmina is one that you really need to see and feel to understand why its a luxury fiber. Its overall appearance is different than that of other wools. Most clients love to use this fiber as a solid rug as it whispers quiet luxury. šŸ‘
