Our next sourdough bread baking class is this very Saturday 11/7 at the kitchen of All Saints' Episcopal Church-Frederick, MD
10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm

You will go home with:
🥖your own sourdough starter (+ feeding instructions)
🥖banneton proofing basket + cloth liner + bench scraper
🥖a shaped dough to bake at home the same afternoon as class
🥖a bonus dough to practice another shape & bake at home
🥖printed and PDF versions of the recipe and instructions taught in class

We quietly celebrated 1 year of teaching sourdough bread classes this week 🥹

It’s hard to pinpoint what came over us over a year ago when we started dreaming up the class.
Uncertainty about the future, a government furlough, anxiety about being addicted to our phones, longing for human connection, a new appreciation for slow hobbies, a simple and steadfast love for bread — take your pick (it’s all of the above).
However we got here, we’re so grateful so many of you humored us and went along with it.

We’ll be happy to teach folks how to make sourdough bread for as long as there are folks who want to learn!

We felt so spoiled teaching at the Natelli Family Y last weekend! We also couldn’t get Village People out of our heads.

We’ll be back December 12th for morning AND afternoon sourdough classes 🥖🤓
