[07/24/21]   Many people forget to clean the dishwasher because they think they don’t have to. But to eliminate that funky smell or just to revitalize it, pour in a cup of vinegar or baking soda and run an empty cycle to clean it.

[07/14/21]   Getting that dust build up off Lamp Shades.
Unplug the lamp and remove the shade. Gently wipe these shades with a dry microfiber cloth, or use a vacuum cleaner attachment to remove the dust. There's a bonus method for parchment shades: You can wipe dirt away from them using a dry piece of white bread! Simply use the bread as you would a microfiber cloth.

[04/24/21]   Mold and its spores contain allergens. In sensitive or allergic people, fungi (molds) can cause allergic reactions such as allergic rhinitis or asthma. Molds may also produce musty odors known as volatile organic compounds that may irritate the eyes, skin, nose, throat, and lungs of both mold-allergic and non-allergic people.

[04/18/21]   Cleaning is about more than just the wiping down of surfaces, removal of garbage and clutter, dusting, and mopping the floor. A good house cleaner will know that a properly cleaned house goes beyond just making it look presentable. It’s about removing harmful toxins from the air in the house as well, assuring that not only the surfaces are clean, but the environment as well. More than just an act, cleaning is a science. This science extends to the cleaning products used as well.
When a product is applied to a surface to clean it, a chemical reaction is initiated. This reaction leads to the breakdown of germs, dust, and other aspects that you are looking to clean away from the surface. Unfortunately it can also lead to the breakdown of the item itself, which is why there are special cleaners for wood, marble, and more sensitive surfaces that are gentler and will not break down antiques or other valuable household items.

[04/11/21]   Allergy sufferers tip: When you change the filter on your vacuum every six months, be sure to take it outside. Otherwise, you'll release dust back into your home!

Punta de enfermos de alergia: al cambiar el filtro en la aspiradora cada seis meses, asegúrese de tomarlo fuera. De lo contrario, a liberar polvo en tu casa!

[04/08/21]   It’s easy to have a blast WITHOUT the mess! One fun craft we enjoy doing with our kiddos is an invisible ink picture. Dip a q-tip in lemon juice mixed with a little water. Let your children draw using this mixture, and when they are done hold it up to a light bulb. Your kids will be amazed at their work of art!

[03/19/21]   Dust Intricate Furniture using a soft-bristle paintbrush about one-inch wide to get the job done quickly and easily. Make sure the brush is new and completely clean. It will work like a charm when dusting intricate wood furniture. The soft bristles will reach dust and loose grime in locations that could never be reached or removed with a rag or even a long-handled tool especially for dusting. Unlike tools with disposable cloths, the paintbrush can be used and reused on furniture again and again, and without added expense.

[03/18/21]   Wipe Out Germ Hot-Spots

The kitchen is full of odd corners you may not think to clean, which end up being breeding grounds for bacteria. For example, your kitchen sponge probably carries more germs than a toilet seat . Besides the sponge, other common culprits include: cutting boards, the inside of your fridge (especially meat and vegetable drawers), garbage can lids, the kitchen sink, and cabinet handles and k***s. Disinfect these areas as part of your cleaning routine.

[03/15/21]   Tile floors are a popular choice among homeowners, especially in kitchens and bathrooms. The seemingly endless variety of patterns and colors can meet the style of any person or home. Another attractive feature of tile floors is the low level of maintenance needed to preserve just use hot water and dish soap in a bucket and a microfiber mop keep the tile floors shining ,

[02/19/21]   Five Steps for Keeping Your Restaurant

toy corn broom and lobby dust pan 2 Keeping your restaurant clean is a big deal. It’s just as important, if not more important, than providing your customers with the best tasting meal possible. The reason? If your restaurant isn’t clean, you won’t get customers to the table to enjoy your delicious food.
Customers will get an impression about your business the moment they walk in the door. That means the dining area needs to be spotless. There are several steps you need to take to ensure that customers recognize your restaurant’s cleanliness and stay to enjoy a meal.

1. Thoroughly sanitize surfaces: That includes table tops, countertops, bars and chairs. Use towels and cleaning solution designed specifically for the front-of-house areas to avoid cross-contamination.

2. Don’t forget the condiments: Many restaurants leave condiment bottles on tables, such as mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, soy sauce or syrup. Make sure to disinfect these bottles and jars as part of your daily cleaning routine.

3. Keep your floors spotless: Dirty floors are not only a turn-off, they’re also a safety hazard. Sweep and mop the floors regularly. That includes entryways, open spaces and under tables, chairs and booths. Always mark wet floors to prevent slips and falls. For restaurants with tile flooring, it’s important to scrub the grout to get rid of stains and odors.

4. Keep your kitchen up to code: While customers won’t see most restaurant kitchens, cleaning here is important, especially when it comes to food safety. In addition to scrubbing, mopping and sweeping surfaces, you need to make sure to keep raw foods separate from cooked foods and clean up any food drippings as quickly as possible.

5. Make your restrooms sparkle: Customers regularly say they won’t return to a restaurant with dirty restrooms. Sanitize all surfaces, including the toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, doors and light switches.

[02/07/21]   To thoroughly protect yourself against the flu, colds and viruses, make sure to clean and sanitize doork***s, toilet handles, toys and high touch surfaces. Create your own sanitizing solution with bleach and water (one tablespoon to one quart is an effective concentration that is safe enough for baby toys, as long as you give the bleach at least five minutes to evaporate.) Vinegar is also safe and highly effective as a disinfectant.

Also, makes sure to wash your hands. Not sure I can say that enough.

[01/19/21]   The forgotten junk and mystery goo under the kitchen sink.
Take everything out of the cabinet, get rid of anything useless, old, or broken, then wipe down all the surfaces.

[01/14/21]   We've got all kinds of nifty gadgets that have tried to replace our brooms, but the truth is that every home still needs a broom. A broom is a great tool for a quick pickup or an intense floor cleaning. Sweeping isn't a difficult motion to master, but try to keep continuous contact with the floor, without pressing the broom strands down into the floor. Begin on a section of floor away from your body and gently drag the broom towards your body. You can use short quick motions or long sweeping motions. Choose whichever better fits your sweeping style.

[01/02/21]   Every Home Biggest Tough Area. The Backsplash Behind The Stove.
Things we need to start the tough job.
Bowl
Toothbrush or another bristled scrubbing brush
Microfiber cloth
Instructions
Make the paste: Combine 1 part lemon juice with 1 part vinegar and 2 parts baking soda. (Don’t be alarmed — it will start to fizz a little!) Then add more baking soda, a little at a time, until the mixture becomes a paste. You will need a lot of baking soda, so just keep adding!
Apply to the grout: Use your fingers to smear the paste onto the grout. You don’t have to be super precious about it, and it’s fine if the stuff gets on your tiles too. Let it sit for up to one hour.
Get scrubbing: Break out an old toothbrush or another bristled scrubbing brush and scrub a small area of the grout. Scrub until it’s really clean!
Wipe: Dip the corner of a microfiber cloth into warm water and wipe the area. Then, move on to the next zone.
Notes
This may be a tough job the first time around — especially if you’re in a home with older tile that hasn’t been cleaned in a while — but once you’ve done a deep clean, it will it be easier to clean the next time.
Think beyond the kitchen! This works on tiled flooring and showers, too!

[12/31/20]   2020 has went fast. Let bring in 2021 ! Wishes Happy New Year to everyone. I hope 2021 brings you everything you can wish for and more. New Year, New Start . May all your dreams come true.

[12/24/20]   Happy Birthday to Jesus! Merry Christmas Eve and a Happy New Year to everyone. May all the lights you see be festive and bright.

[12/21/20]   Do you really need a HEPA filter?
Many vacuums today come with a dedicated HEPA filter. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. That may sound fancy, but it really just means that it removes harmful allergens like mold, smoke, or dust from the air. All filters do that to some extent, but the more expensive HEPA variety must trap at least 99.97 percent of particles to be considered the real deal. Take that, allergens.
If you have asthma or allergies, or are just generally concerned with air quality, a vacuum with a HEPA filter might be worth your consideration. Many of them are removable and can be cleaned with water until they need to be replaced. This might all sound really good, but some non-HEPA models can do just as well as their High Efficiency Particulate Air counterparts. So do your research -- emission reduction can vary a lot.

[12/06/20]   Are your air filters ready for the winter? As snow beings to fall and mercury starts to dip through out many regions , it's hard to think about things like switching out filters on your HVAC unit but you should for keeping energy cost down and maintaining healthy air quality.

[10/11/20]   Do you kick up choking clouds of dust each time you sweep out your workshop, garage or basement? Here's how to keep down the dust: Before you start sweeping, lightly mist the floor with a spray bottle. The water will keep the dust from swirling up.

[09/26/20]   Here's how to clean a flat screen TV.
Turn off the monitor. If the screen is dark it will be easier to see the dirty and oily areas.
Use a dry, soft cloth -- the kind you would use to clean your eyeglasses -- and very gently wipe the screen. If this doesn't remove the oil or dirt, do not press down harder and try to remove the dirt. Pressing down on the screen will cause the pixels to burn out. Rather, proceed to the next step.
Make a solution of equal parts water and vinegar. Dampen a cloth in the solution and gently wipe the screen. Again, rubbing and scrubbing will damage the screen.
Here are some important tips you should know.
Avoid using paper towels, toilet paper or something like your shirt to wipe the screen, as these may scratch or damage the screen.
Do not use products that contain ammonia, ethyl alcohol, acetone or ethyl chloride. These chemicals can cause the screen to turn yellow.
Never spray liquid directly on the screen as it can run inside the monitor and cause damage
