How it started vs how it ended.

Now back to the laundry room remodel!!

10/23/2026

We knew this laundry room remodel was going to be a big job since we are rearranging the layout. We did not expect it to be THIS big of a job.

Unfortunately, sometimes once you get into the studs of a project you come across unexpected problems. For this one, we discovered rotted plywood caused by a leaky roof that wasn’t enough to make it through the insulation yet but enough to jeopardize the integrity of the roof. Something we wouldn’t have been able to see from the laundry room.

Called our roofer to take a look and ran through the options with the homeowner. Thankfully we caught it because it was so bad that a few more heavy snowfalls could have caused it to fall in😬

Finding a contractor that treats your home like their own is important. Making sure the job is done right and not shying away from communicating problems to the homeowner.

👋 MEET THE OWNERS: MIKE | MCE BUILDERS LLC

Meet Mike! 👋 Co-owner | Project Manager | Man Behind the Tools | Lead Installer at MCE Builders LLC with over 19 years of experience in the construction industry!

Mike takes pride in his work, but one of his favorite parts of any project is seeing the full transformation come together. There’s something special about taking a space from start to finish and knowing the time, effort, and craftsmanship that went into making it happen. 🛠️

But for Mike, the best part of finishing a job isn’t just walking away from a completed project. It’s coming home and getting to show his son what he built. ❤️

Building MCE Builders LLC has been about more than starting a business. It’s about showing the next generation the value of hard work, perseverance, and taking pride in what you do. We hope to teach our son that with dedication, a willingness to work hard, and the courage to build something of your own, you can create something truly meaningful.

That’s the kind of pride Mike brings to every project, and it’s a big part of what MCE Builders LLC is all about.

We’re proud to be a family-owned and operated business, and we’re grateful for every customer who trusts us with their home or business!
