We would like to send a Thank you for the disposable underwear left in the donation bin at Hellertown Borough Hall a case was already delivered to the homebound today. During one of the blessing box stops today at one of our busy blessing boxes ,because of donations of Ensure shakes left at the borough bin about a week ago one of the guests at that busy blessing box was asked what she needed because we were there ready to fill the boxes which were almost completly empty. She was so grateful that there was still toothpaste and toothbrush left in the hygiene box. She was Asked if she needed anything else we were able to bless her with a loaf of bread , a roll of toliet paper and some ensure shakes she gave me a hug she was so grateful.

This weekend we did a few homebound stops we will be doing a General Store in the month of November there are only a few items at this point on this list only 5 items, one is gift cards to help us shop for fresh items for the event, one decaf coffee, one Zest soap and creamers. So this list is very short. If you can help we appreciate it greatly.

Motivational Monday!

This year we have become more mindful of what we do to help more people.

-Produce fills at the Produce blessing box at Arnold’s

-General store and visits regularly to the homebound easily reaching over 20 residents in Hellertown a month

-utilizing our indoor locations more this summer and year round making sure our youth and young families and seniors had food available that they needed at our Hellertown Area Library location and Community Center location

- joining forces with more community groups, churches, businesses and community to do more as neighbors to help as we can.

-Making Emergency food bags and meal kits remembering community volunteer Tammy. Non perishable meals and food to quickly help a family in need. We make them for individuals too.

-Project keep Hellertown warm bringing items more to covered/indoor areas throughout the community

The important thing is we extend a helping hand to groups already established in our community such as blessing box hosts and areas to help them reach more neighbors in need. No reinventing the wheel.

Thank you so much for being here.

This box is crucial it gets quality produce to those who need a helping hand.

Please consider an add on to gift card to help Doris fill this box . Thank You!
