🌳 TOMAHAWK THURSDAYS | JOB SPOTLIGHT

👀 Yes, that's a whole lot of tree in the air!

Big, challenging tree removals often call for a little extra reach...and some serious coordination.

With crane-assisted removals, every lift takes planning, communication, and a skilled crew working in sync. It's all about managing the job carefully, especially when working near homes and other structures.

Here's a look at one of our recent projects. More behind-the-scenes footage coming soon!

🌳 Not all pruning is created equal!

Tree pruning isn't simply about cutting back branches until a tree looks tidy. Every cut can influence how a tree grows, responds to stress, and develops over time.

That's why we believe in pruning with a purpose.

At Tomahawk Tree Service, we consider each tree's structure, condition, and growth patterns before deciding what should be removed and why. The goal is to make thoughtful, informed cuts that support the tree's health, structure, and long-term needs — not just get the job done quickly.

If you're hiring someone to prune your trees, don't be afraid to ask questions. Understanding the plan (both short-term and long-term) matters.

Your trees are an investment in your property. Make sure they're getting the care they deserve. 🌲

⛈️ Storms are expected across the Atlanta area this weekend. Is your property ready?

Before the wind and heavy rain arrive, take a few minutes to look over the trees around your home.

🌳 Check for dead or hanging branches
These can become dangerous when strong winds move through.

🏡 Look closely at trees near your home, driveway, or power lines
Watch for obvious signs of damage, decay, cracks, or unstable limbs.

⚠️ Don't try to handle dangerous trees or large branches yourself
Especially when they're near your home, vehicles, or power lines.

And don't forget to secure outdoor furniture, grills, planters, and other items that could become projectiles in strong winds.

A few minutes of preparation now can help prevent a much bigger problem later.

If you notice a tree you're concerned about, it's better to have it looked at before the storm than deal with damage afterward.

🌲 Tomahawk Tree Service serves homeowners throughout the Atlanta area with tree removal, pruning, and emergency storm services.

Stay safe this weekend, Atlanta!

🍂 Fall is a good time to give your trees a little extra attention before winter arrives.

As we head into the cooler months, here are four things Atlanta homeowners can do to help keep their trees healthy:

1. Keep trees hydrated — Make sure your trees have adequate water before entering the dormant season.
2. Stay on top of fallen leaves — Remove leaves from areas where they could contribute to disease, or use them for composting and mulch.
3. Check for signs of disease — Fall is a good time to look for unusual growth, damaged branches, discoloration, or other signs that something may be wrong.
4. Take care of necessary pruning — Addressing structural or problem branches before winter can help keep your trees healthy and looking their best.
