Took a quick getaway with my Mom to a place I recently learned about. Henry Ford’s The Henry Ford Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI.

Blown away. We did have a perfect fall weather day and it was themed out perfectly with just the right amount of Halloween decor, but also….

If you love old things, history, and the stories that link them, it’s for you. Imagine pulling together the pieces of your life story that mean something and bringing them all to the same place?

This is what Ford did. My favorites were Noah Webster’s (Webster’s dictionary) home, Thomas Edison’s lab, the early American pieces found in a New England homestead, and of course the furniture and all decor that I still bring to the shop today. The details were on point.

The village is outdoors and is seasonal, but put it on your must see list. Take the kids! They will learn so much. And maybe ride in a Model T if you’re really looking for some action. 😉

When I snagged these dishes I knew they were something special. At the time, I didn’t even know every single plate had a different scene.

I put them on a Bordhallo green charger and they look so good - but these are so neutral they will literally make any tablescape pop. Or live your best plate wall life and load it up with these!

Love them for everyday and for holidays. Remind me why I’m selling these again?

Took the week to regroup from last weekends big show and now looking ahead to next Saturday for our fall/harvest event!

I’ve redone displays, added lots of new (old) merch and brought fall retail to the floor!

Our resident artist Brady Vencill will be here! He’s bringing some brand new originals with him and some smaller goodies you are going to want! Just trust me.
