Wrapping up the last of our fall season's builds and the spring calendar is already filling in.

If you've been thinking about a new deck for next summer, now's the time to get on the list. Winter is when we do the planning, the permits, and the material orders, so when the snow finally goes and the ground thaws we're ready for our first builds on the calendar.

This is a project we did a couple years ago.

Stairs wide enough to walk down with your hands full, a railing that'll still be tight in fifteen years, and enough deck left over to put a table on. Simple, clean, and usable.

Stairs are the part people underestimate. Get the rise wrong by half an inch and you feel it every single time you go down them. Worth doing it right the first time.
