Good Evening! Life has lead me in a entirely different direction and I must look after myself foremost. And I must hit pause and reset and begin again. 😒

What does this mean going forward? I don't have that quite figure out either! But my business will remain closed until I get situated in a new home and I will go from there. 😒

If you do have a gift certificate for baking, I will honor those. It might take extra time and if that is not going to work, I will refund any amount. If you have placed an order for wood work, I am afraid I will have to cancel those orders, I will message you directly with my apologies. 😒

As you can imagine, this a extremely sensitive and stressful time and if you do message me, please give me patience in responding to you. 😒

Good Evening Friends! Hubby is on nights, so that means I clean the master bedroom closet during the evening! This has been on my do list for awhile now! As you could tell, I'm kinda of a clothes hoarder! 3 large bags of clothing I pulled from the closet alone! Next up is my dresser drawers, but for another evening! 🙄🙄🙄

I sleep so much better in a non cluttered space! How about you guys? I was in the mood to purge! 👌👌👌

I'm on day nine of my post op carpal tunnel surgery and my hand is feeling pretty damn good! Stitches come out on Tuesday and I will discuss with the doctor when I can rolling and mixing dough again! 😊😊😊

Good Morning Friends! I had the pleasure of attending a hat/bag workshop this past Tuesday with some dear friends! 😊😊😊

Pick your hat/bag and get creating! From burning to decorating, there was many beautiful hats/bags by the end of the evening! ❤️❤️❤️

I finished mine this morning and here she is in all her glory! Love it! Many cherished treasures adorn my hat and I cannot wait to wear it today! 👌👌👌

Good Evening Friends! Well it took me most of the day, but I managed to get my pickled beets done today with one paw! I'm happy to say all the jars sealed! I will link the recipe below and yes I added my own twist to it too. Watch the videos in the comments on the steps and process if you like too! 👌👌👌

I even made a batch of Borscht Soup, "Grass Soup" lol (watch my reel from earlier today) for lunch tomorrow at my dear parents! And a See ya Later lunch with my dear niece & nephew, Brianne Roberge & Charles Roberge, as they are soon to depart from Canada for the Winter! ❤️❤️❤️

I finally made a batch of slightly spicy pickled eggs too, from our own chickens! They will become Christmas gifts for some dear friends! Thanks to Wilfred Wile for the recipe! I kinda tweaked it a bit tho! 😋😋😋

I got a couple of other things taken care for winter prep too, but now its tea time and ice my hand for a bit and then I think I will craft before its bedtime! 👍👍👍

Good Morning Friends! Had my carpal tunnel surgery yesterday morning in Edson at the hospital and I gotta say a huge thank you to all the staff on the Surgical Ward! Especially to the two nurses, Daphne & Hussein and for their kindness and gentleness, looking after me before, during and after surgery. To Dr. Krueger, for explaining everything about the nerve block and noticing how nervous I was about the procedure and telling me to breathe throughout the surgery. To Dr. Oishi and the nurse (sorry didnt catch her name), who helped during the surgery, thank you for your skilled hands, it was greatly appreciated. ❤️❤️❤️

To my amazing hubby, Duane, thank you for supporting me and mopping me up after said surgery was done, I was a little emotional after it was over, must have been the sedative they gave me! Your my rock and I love you! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you to everyone who reached out, with get well wishes, sure made me feel special! ❤️❤️❤️

I had a very good night's rest lastnight, the pain killer was the bomb, even helped my back out! Here is the start of my recovery and I hope it is a short one too! 👌👌👌

Good Evening! Tomorrow is bagel drop off day at Harubaku Coffee Co. Shop at 9am in Edson! Be sure to come grab some and ask for cream cheese too! Grab your favorite a coffee or a tea as well! 👌👌👌

I baked my heart out today! 156 bagels done in my little oven! My feet and hands sure are sore tonight! ❤️❤️❤️

Refection: Our Big Blue Mix Jake

As Thanksgiving Sunday evening comes to a close, I sit in the quiet dark of our home and think of our Big Blue Yard Dog Jake and how thankful I was to be apart of his life.

You see, we laid him to rest on the afternoon of Friday, October 9th. We had him for almost 14 treasured years. It broke my heart to do so, but it was time, as arthritis was starting to set in.

I have had a dog in my life as long as I can remember! All shapes, kinds and sizes. But there was something different about Ole Man Jake. Maybe because he was Duane's dog. Or I knew when we went a walking, that I was safe and protected, he always came back to check on me without being asked.

He knew when I was upset, he heard all about my every grievance throughout my day, he shared my excitement with little nips upon my body. But most of all he was just there, always happy to see you and greet you with a nose bump.

A dog is a gift! They become such integral part of your family. A fixture that holds all your deepest darkest secrets and they never ask for more than a pat on the head or a belly rub. No judgement. Ok, maybe a side eye, every now again, like come on human, get your s**t together!

Some think, its just a dog! But to us, it's more than that! A part of us goes with him and it will take awhile to fill the emptiness that he leaves behind. I will treasure the memories of him always! I wrapped him in blue and laid him to rest next to Mya. Under the big trees, next to field where we always walked and he too can see the sunrises and the sunsets for always.

Rest Easy, Big Blue, You Sir Deserve It!
